In the shop we are itching for the season to change, Annie has been baking up a storm of  delicious treats to tempt all who venture in from the Snow. Its all is go, go, go, as we prepare for the Easter holidays if you would like to order anything in advance like hams or fridge fillers don't hesitate to call 01728 451930. In the shop we have a selection of Chris' own pies, our own glazed ham, biltong and an ever growing selection of local products. We will be open longer starting from 29th March Mon - Fri, 8.00 - 3.00   Sat & Sun, 8.00 - 4.00 . Please don't forget to book your  newspapers to avoid disappointment over this busy period See you all soon,

A big thank you to everyone who voted for us for the country alliance award, unfortunately we were not successful but finger crossed maybe we will be next year. There is still time to join the Christmas savings fund , we now have more members than ever and I'm pleased to say that Chris's own pies will be available in the shop soon so lets hope he can keep up with demand.  Remember we open every day from 8am and have a selection of newspapers but if you don't fancy getting up early why not reserve your paper and anything else you need,  from breakfast treats to the basics.  David has been updating our wines in the shop so we  now have an even bigger selection to tempt you. On our counter everyday we have fresh, croissants, quiches, pasties, cheeses straws our famous sausage rolls   and apple pies.  Carole
