Easter weekend is always one of our busiest weekends of the year and we are hoping that this year is going to be no different.
Being a bit later than normal this year we can only hope that the holiday brings some sunshine with it after what has been a very wet and windy winter.
Good Friday Beach Clean
The Easter weekend kicks off at The Dolphin as people meet for the annual Beach Clean. This has become quite a date in the diary as more and more people help to clean the beach every year. Bill Crow will lead the march, once again, to the clean up mission. When the beach is clean The Dolphin is the meeting point once again where people will enjoy some wine and cheese and biscuits before exchanging some larger than life stories about some unusual finds on the beach.
Easter Sunday Easter Egg Hunt
Kerry has one last event to run before she embarks on Motherhood. The Easter Egg Hunt is hugely popular on Easter Sunday morning. All are welcome as our garden descends into chaos as the hunt for Easter eggs happens. Theres no need to book for this, just turn up in the morning. Look out for posters soon for exact timings.
Roast and Crumble
As with every Sunday throughout the year we are running our "Roast and Crumble" deal on Easter Sunday. £13.95 for just 2 courses. If the weather is right then we should be looking forward to some new season food such as the infamous Thorpeness Leaves and some delicious dressed crab, maybe even some early asparagus.
Emitting the summer holiday this is without doubt our busiest Sunday of the year so please book your table to take advantage of this great deal. We do have limited space inside however if the sun is shining then the garden is open to the masses to take a pew on our newly painted garden benches.
With the extra long weekend that so many people are taking advantage of we will be open all day for those of you who are walking off the chocolate and want to pop in for a cheeky drink in the afternoon. Another busy day at The Dolphin, booking again is essential if you wish to eat inside.
