19th April - Good Friday
Once again we play host to Thorpeness’ annual beach clean on Good Friday. Last year saw an enormous amount of people come and volunteer to help make our beaches and common and cleaner place. We have seen a lot of coverage on TV and social media over the past year about the damage that rubbish, plastic in particular, does to the wildlife in our seas. That’s why this year it is more important than ever to have out biggest turnout ever to help maintain our beaches. Everybody meets here at The Dolphin for a warming tea or coffee at 10.30am before heading out in teams to litter-pick their designated areas. After an hour or two head back to us for a hot dog. We encourage people to tell some fantasy stories about their unusual find too. Bring the whole family along.
This Easter weekend we are open from 12pm-8pm for food on Easter Sunday
Please remember you can now book your table online, but be quick s we will fill up very quickly.
On Good Friday the masses will set off from The Dolphin to help clean up the beach again.
Easter Sunday see Kerry play host once again to her now famous Easter Sunday Easter Egg Hunt. Look out for details in the pub and The Village Store.
