Decorated with old photographs of Thorpeness, wooden tables and chairs, a large log fireplace and subtle lighting it is easy to understand why this is a popular meeting place with the locals.

As a free house all the ales are all selected from local independent breweries including Brandon, Adnams, Crouch Vale, Mauldons, Cliff Quay, Green Jack and more with an impressive selection of whiskies and bourbons and an equally impressive wine cellar.
